Former Minister Mu’azu Jaji Sambo Commends Boss Mustapha’s Contributions At Federal University Wukari Convocation


Mu’azu Jaji Sambo, CON, the immediate past Minister of Transportation, graced the Federal University Wukari’s 6th and 7th Convocation Ceremony in Taraba State. Sambo, alongside a distinguished delegation, attended the event to witness the conferment of an Honorary Doctorate Degree in law upon Boss Mustapha, NPoM, CFR, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (2017 – 2023).

The delegation, led by Mu’azu Jaji Sambo, paid homage to His Majesty, Manu Ishaku Adda Ali Matakhitswen, the Aku Uka and Chairman of the Taraba State Traditional Rulers’ Council, before proceeding to the University for the inaugural lecture. During the ceremony, Boss Mustapha, alongside other distinguished recipients, was honored for his significant contributions to national development.

In a statement to the press, Sambo commended the decision to confer the honorary degree upon Boss Mustapha, highlighting his exceptional qualities as a legal expert and administrator. He emphasized Mustapha’s pivotal role in the development of the Federal University Wukari, particularly in accelerating the approval and establishment of the University Teaching Hospital.

Reflecting on their past collaborations in the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) and the Federal Cabinet, Sambo praised Mustapha’s dedication and leadership. He expressed gratitude to David Sabo Kente, a critical stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State, for hosting the delegation and his generous hospitality.

Addressing inquiries about his future political endeavors, Sambo conveyed his contentment with his current role as a builder and his commitment to contributing to Taraba State’s success. He affirmed his dedication to serving Nigeria and Taraba State, highlighting his passion for development projects.
