Fidelity Bank To Launch SME Hub With Creative Studios For Entrepreneurs

Fidelity Bank Plc is set to launch the Fidelity SME Hub, a state-of-the-art facility designed to support small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs in Nigeria’s creative industry.

Located in Lagos, the multipurpose hub will offer training halls, meeting rooms, networking spaces, podcast rooms, and content production studios, including facilities for music and photography. The initiative is part of the bank’s broader strategy to provide non-financial support to SMEs, recognizing that business success requires more than just financial assistance.

“For nearly four decades, Fidelity Bank has been at the forefront of supporting small businesses. The Fidelity SME Hub is our latest effort to foster innovation, collaboration, and capacity-building, which are essential for strengthening Nigeria’s SME ecosystem and driving economic growth,” said Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, managing director/CEO of Fidelity Bank.

A key highlight of the hub is Creativerse, a dedicated space for entrepreneurs in the creative industry. Fidelity Bank will also launch specialized training programs in financial management, digital transformation, branding, and business growth strategies, alongside a creative academy covering music production, website design, videography, disc jockeying, and photography.

Beyond business empowerment, the bank aims to boost Nigeria’s non-oil exports by equipping SMEs with the tools needed to expand their contributions to the economy. “Through our investment in Creativerse, we anticipate that content creators will unlock new revenue streams in entertainment, digital media, and the arts,” Onyeali-Ikpe added.

Fidelity Bank, ranked among Nigeria’s top financial institutions, serves over 8.5 million customers across Nigeria and the UK. The bank has won multiple awards, including best bank for SMEs in Nigeria at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2023 and best SME bank Nigeria 2022 by the Global Banking and Finance Awards.
