FCT Police Rescue Yet Another Kidnapped Victim, Apprehend Suspect

In an unwavering commitment to eradicating criminality in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Police Operatives from Iddo Divisional Headquarters successfully rescued Suleiman Sabo, a kidnapped victim, on Sunday, January 21, 2023, at approximately 11:30 AM in Sauka, along Airport Road, Abuja.

During the rescue operation, authorities apprehended Muhammad Abel, a 32-year-old male from Kogi state, and seized a LAR rifle along with ten rounds of live ammunition in his possession.

Suleiman Sabo, who sustained injuries during his captivity, is currently receiving medical attention. Once certified fit by the medical team, he will be reunited with his family.

CP Haruna G. Garba, the Commissioner of Police for FCT, underscores the command’s unyielding commitment to eliminating criminal activities and maintaining peace throughout the territory.
