FCT Police Recover Abandoned Toyota Prado Jeep In Abuja


Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have recovered an abandoned Toyota Prado Land Cruiser Jeep during a routine patrol on December 31, 2024. The vehicle was discovered at about 11:30 AM along David Ejoor Street, opposite Adisa Estate in the Apo-Gudu area.

According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, the vehicle, found without a registration number, contained various items including a silver-colored eagle insignia, some video/audio cables, and a car stereo remote. A closer inspection revealed that the sticker displaying the engine and chassis numbers near the driver’s door had been removed, and the windscreen appeared to have been recently replaced.

The recovered vehicle has been towed to the FCT Police Command Headquarters in Garki II for further investigations. Authorities are calling on members of the public who may have reported missing vehicles matching the description of the recovered Toyota Prado Jeep to visit the FCT Command for verification and possible recovery.
