FCT Commissioner of Police Advocates Inter-Agency Synergy During Courtesy Visits

The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, CP Olatunji Disu, psc, has underscored the importance of collaboration among security agencies during a series of courtesy visits to key security stakeholders in Abuja. The visits, held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, form part of efforts to enhance synergy and foster mutual understanding among law enforcement agencies in the FCT.

CP Disu met with the Commander of the Guards Brigade, the Commander of 053 NAF Camp, the Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the State Director of Security, and the Commander of the Naval Unit in Abuja. These engagements focused on addressing the rising security challenges in the FCT and its environs through strengthened partnerships and cooperation.

During the meetings, CP Disu highlighted the critical role of inter-agency collaboration in ensuring the safety and security of residents. He emphasized that collective efforts and mutual understanding among security agencies are essential to maintaining peace and stability in the nation’s capital.

The Commissioner of Police expressed his appreciation to the heads of the sister security agencies for their warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to working together in achieving a secure and peaceful environment for all residents of the FCT.

The visits signify a proactive approach by the FCT Command under CP Disu’s leadership to tackle security issues and build stronger networks among law enforcement agencies. The initiative is expected to enhance operational efficiency and reinforce the collective commitment to safeguarding lives and property in the Federal Capital Territory.
