The family of the late Mrs. Florence Ifeyinwa Ogbuka (nee Okonkwo) has announced the details of her funeral arrangements following her passing on September 16, 2024, in Lagos, after a brief illness. Mrs. Ogbuka, who will be remembered for the love and care she extended to those around her, leaves behind a grieving husband, children, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, siblings, nephews, nieces, and other relatives. Her family, friends, and loved ones will miss her dearly.

The funeral rites will commence with a Service of Songs on November 5, 2024, at 4:00 PM, at the Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral in Ikeja GRA, Lagos. This will offer an opportunity for family and friends to gather and celebrate her life.

On November 15, 2024, the body of Mrs. Ogbuka will leave Regina Caeli Specialist Hospital at 7:00 AM for her family compound in Ukpo, Dunukofia Local Government Area (LGA) of Anambra State, with a brief stopover at Nteje, Oyi LGA. Her lying-in-state will be held at the Ogbuka family compound at 8:30 AM, followed by a burial service at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Pentecost, Ukpo, Dunukofia LGA. After the burial, a reception will be held at the family compound to receive well-wishers and celebrate her life.

The final event of the burial ceremonies will take place on November 17, 2024, with a First Outing Thanksgiving Service at 8:30 AM at the Church of the Pentecost in Ukpo, Dunukofia LGA, Anambra State.
