This year’s future leadership conference which was held on Tuesday 31st August 2021 with the theme “Transformational Leadership: An antidote to Nigeria’s leadership quagmire” was a mind-blowing interactive session with press media, and other initiatives combing the present situation and strategically promote the leadership spirit of entrepreneurial consciousness amongst young Nigerians.

According to the executive convener, Mark Idiahi, it is a fact that leadership has been our collective albatross as a nation and it will not be out of place to prepare our youths for the future challenges of leadership in Nigeria.

The future leadership conference is the preventive arm of the second chance care foundation and annual gathering of young and promising professionals drawn from various disciplines across the country Nigeria.

He added that the sixth edition of the future leadership conference is in strategic partnership with the *Chartered Institute of Strategic Managers and Leaders. (CISML)

As an organization, we are working assiduously towards ensuring that we use this opportunity to rewrite the narratives of the Nigerian Leadership.

He further stated as a nation, we have domesticated different kinds of leadership in Nigeria but unfortunately, they have not been able to resolve our combined developmental issue. Hence our pursuit for a transformational model of leadership in addressing the quagmires of failed leadership.

Unfortunately, the productive resilience of some of our youth is channeled otherwise he added.
