Ecobank Nigeria has kicked off its “Save and Score” promo in anticipation of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023. In its first draw, the leading pan-African banking group rewarded 50 of its customers. The promo, launched in November and scheduled to run until January 6, 2024, is inspired by Ecobank’s sponsorship of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023, set to commence on January 13, 2024.

This promotional campaign offers an opportunity for 10 lucky customers to win an all-expense-paid trip to witness the final match of the AFCON tournament in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. Additionally, 100 other customers stand a chance of winning N25,000. Open to new, existing, and dormant account holders, the promo requires customers to make a single deposit of N100,000 and above, maintain a minimum account balance of N100,000 for 30 days, possess a bank card, and transact on any of the bank’s digital channels to qualify.

Korede Demola-Adeniyi, Head of Consumer Banking, expressed satisfaction with the customers’ response to the promo. She emphasized that the initiative aims to reward the loyalty of Ecobank’s esteemed clientele and encouraged them to continue funding their accounts to enhance their chances of winning. She also urged potential customers to open accounts with Ecobank, emphasizing the benefits of the bank’s digital services and array of products.

Aspiring customers can conveniently open accounts through the website (aop.ecobank.com), download the Xpresspoint Application from Google Play Store, or visit any of the bank’s branches. Dormant account holders can reactivate their accounts, acquire their cards, and commence transactions. Funding options are available through various digital platforms.

Jeremy Awori, Chief Executive Officer of Ecobank Group, highlighted Ecobank’s pride in associating with the Confederation of African Football for the success of TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023. He emphasized Ecobank’s commitment to regional integration, stating that football unites communities, aligning with the bank’s core values. The partnership underscores Ecobank’s pan-African spirit and heritage, fostering connections with millions of Africans celebrating the football spectacle at AFCON 2023. Notably, 16 out of the 35 African countries where Ecobank operates are among the 24 competing in Côte d’Ivoire.

The promotional draw marks the beginning of a rewarding journey for Ecobank customers, aligning with the bank’s commitment to fostering community engagement and celebrating the passion for football across Africa.
