Ecobank Nigeria has announced its first-ever Design & Build Expo, set to take place from November 27 to December 1, 2024, at the Ecobank Pan African Centre (EPAC) in Victoria Island, Lagos. This five-day event, themed “Building Nigeria Together,” will spotlight the latest trends, innovations, and sustainable practices in various sectors including architecture, construction, engineering, and interior design.

With over 60 exhibitors already on board, the expo promises to be a major event, bringing together key players in the design and building industries. Exhibitors will showcase a wide range of products from building materials and household appliances to kitchen fittings, lighting, electronics, and construction tools.

Omoboye Odu, Head of SMEs, Partnerships, and Collaborations at Ecobank Nigeria, highlighted the significance of the expo as part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to drive Nigeria’s economic development. “This expo aligns with Ecobank’s mission to foster economic growth across the regions we operate in. It’s an opportunity for industry professionals to showcase their products and embrace sustainable practices such as the use of renewable materials and energy-efficient technologies,” Odu said during the announcement.

The expo will also offer networking opportunities, interactive sessions, workshops, and live demonstrations, providing exhibitors with the chance to connect with potential clients, influencers, and decision-makers. “Exhibitors will benefit from enhanced brand visibility, market insights, and the chance to explore emerging trends in the industry,” Odu added.

Ecobank Nigeria has been actively supporting the SME sector through various initiatives, including the Adire Lagos Experience, +234 Art Fair, Ecobank National Schools Team Chess Championship, and Oja Oge 2024. The bank is also conducting its MySME Growth Series, which aims to train and empower over 1 million small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) nationwide by the end of the year.

With the Design & Build Expo, Ecobank continues to build on its commitment to supporting Nigeria’s economic growth, inviting stakeholders from across the real estate and construction sectors to be part of this innovative event aimed at shaping the future of the industry.
