Ecobank Nigeria has announced the launch of its ‘Ecobank Super Rewards Millionaire Geng Promo,’ a six-month deposit mobilization campaign aimed at rewarding customer loyalty. Running from July 1 to December 31, 2024, the campaign will see 540 customers winning various monetary prizes.
Head of Consumer Banking, Adeola Ogunyemi, explained that the initiative is part of the bank’s strategy to reward loyal customers and enhance financial inclusion, particularly for those in rural and semi-urban areas. Both new and existing individual customers across Nigeria are eligible to participate and stand a chance to win, while also benefiting from Ecobank’s top-notch banking services.
“Under the reward initiative, 520 of our customers will win N50,000 monthly for six months; 16 customers are expected to win N500,000 quarterly in September and December, and four customers will win N2,000,000 each at the end of the campaign. We expect many Nigerians, especially those who do not yet have accounts with us, to take advantage of this opportunity,” Ogunyemi stated.
Victor Yalokwu, Head of Consumer Segments & Products, highlighted the simple conditions for participation. New customers need to open an account with a minimum of N10,000 and maintain it for 30 days to qualify for the monthly draw, a requirement that also applies to existing customers. For the quarterly draw, customers must deposit and maintain a minimum of N50,000 for three consecutive months. To qualify for the grand prize, a minimum deposit of N50,000 must be maintained for six months consecutively, along with a minimum of two transactions monthly.
