Ecobank Group Launches ‘A BETTER WAY | A BETTER AFRICA’ Brand Campaign At AFCON 2023

Ecobank Group, a leading pan-African financial services institution, unveiled its new brand campaign, ‘A BETTER WAY | A BETTER AFRICA,’ at the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023 (AFCON). The financial giant, serving as an official sponsor of AFCON 2023, leverages the electrifying spirit of African football to underscore its commitment to the continent’s sustainable growth.

The campaign, rooted in an extensive pan-African brand survey, aims to showcase Ecobank’s dedication to empowering clients and customers towards achieving a better future for Africa. Jeremy Awori, CEO of Ecobank Group, emphasized the institution’s role in driving growth through affordable, reliable, and innovative financial services, contributing significantly to Africa’s development.

Based on insights from the pan-African survey, the campaign highlights Ecobank’s role as an enabler and partner for clients and customers across 35 countries. The institution’s single gateway platform and diverse workforce position it to identify and seize new opportunities for its stakeholders.

The campaign emphasizes Ecobank’s digital network and continent-wide connectivity, showcasing its unified payment ecosystem that supports market access and business growth. The campaign strategically aligns with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) opportunities, positioning Ecobank as a catalyst for economic integration.

Featuring a mix of digital and traditional media, including a television commercial shot on the continent, the fully integrated campaign will continue to roll out across Africa post the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023.
