Hon Dr Tony Okechukwu Nwoye has frowned over the recurrent attacks of the dissident unknown gunmen that has taken tolls on the good and peace loving people of the south east.

Dr Nwoye who received the ugly news of the attack on the vigilante men of Ozubulu whose security office and vehicle was razed down and scores feared dead while their arms carted away by the unknown gunmen.

In a statement released on Monday, 10th May, 2021, Dr Tony Nwoye said it’s time community leaders and stakeholders enforced a good community policing strategy as a means of proffering solutions to the insecurity challenges ravaging our communities which he said has become most worrisome and frightening as our people no longer sleep with their two eyes closed.

Dr Nwoye who is a frontline governorship aspirant for the Anambra November 6th 2021 elections under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP said that time has come when the government should synergise with the relevant stakeholders in curbing and check mating the nefarious activities of the unknown gunmen whom he said has caused unnecessary fear and phobia on our people which has added up to the issue of killer herdsmen ravaging the nooks and crannies of the country.

He sympathised with the good people of Ozubulu whom he referred to as his inlaws and prayed the Almighty God to grant them the fortitude and grace to bear the unfortunate incident as he condoles with the families who lost their loved one.
