Dr. Emmanuel Nweke Okafor Expresses Gratitude To Nteje Community For Active Participation In General Meeting

Dr. Emmanuel Nweke Okafor, a dedicated son of Nteje and academic at Siam University, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the people of Nteje for their active participation in the community’s 26th December 2024 General Meeting. In an open letter, he acknowledged the commitment and involvement of attendees, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in addressing the town’s challenges and fostering unity.

Dr. Okafor highlighted the significance of regular dialogue in resolving community issues and strengthening the bonds that unite Nteje-Abogu. “Attending these meetings is always a better option for the common good of everyone. Dialogue has proven time and again to be an effective means of addressing community issues and promoting unity,” he noted.

He also called on Nteje sons and daughters, both at home and abroad, to play an active role in the town’s development. Dr. Okafor emphasized the value of contributions from Nteje indigenes living abroad, stating that their voices, ideas, and support are vital to the community’s progress.

The letter underscored the importance of participation in Nteje Development Union (NDU) meetings, urging everyone to remain united and dedicated to the growth and prosperity of the town. “We owe it to Nteje to work together to ensure that our community thrives now and for future generations,” Dr. Okafor said.

He concluded his message with gratitude for the unwavering dedication of the Nteje community, reaffirming his commitment to working alongside them to achieve a brighter future for Nteje-Abogu.
