Dr. Emmanuel Nweke Okafor Calls For Active Participation In Upcoming Nteje General Meeting

Dr. Emmanuel Nweke Okafor, a prominent figure in the Nteje-Abogu community and a scholar at Siam University, has issued a rallying call to all members of the Nteje community to actively participate in the upcoming General Meeting of the Nteje Development Union (NDU). In an open message, he emphasized the importance of the meeting in addressing critical issues concerning the progress and unity of the town.

While acknowledging some concerns about inclusivity in previous meetings, Dr. Okafor urged members to remain focused and constructive, encouraging reflection and dialogue as tools to foster development. “Your presence is crucial, as it gives you the opportunity to be heard and to contribute to the conversation,” he said, addressing reports of limited speaking opportunities at past meetings.

He also emphasized the collective responsibility of Nteje indigenes to work towards the peace, progress, and unity of their homeland. Dr. Okafor encouraged the community to stand against any actions or ideas that may cause division or prioritize personal interests over the collective good.

Highlighting the significance of solidarity, he urged members to prepare ahead of the meeting and invite others to participate. “We have no other home than Nteje, and together, we can continue to push it forward,” he stated.

The call to action reflects Dr. Okafor’s commitment to the liberation and development of Nteje, underscoring his belief in the power of unity and dialogue to create lasting progress for the community.
