The rescued victim has been safely reunited with his family, and efforts to apprehend the fleeing suspects are ongoing.

On November 8, 2023, operatives of the Eagle-Net Special Squad, based on credible information, apprehended Israel Akitia, a 34-year-old male, in Ugolo Community, Okpe LGA. Additionally, on November 9, 2023, during a stop-and-search operation by the Police visibility patrol team from Agbarho division along the Five Junction axis, Agbarho, two adult male suspects were spotted.
