Delta State Police Commissioner Orders Massive Deployment For Eid-Kabir Celebration


The Commissioner of Police for Delta State, CP Abaniwonda Olufemi, has assured Muslim faithful in the state of enhanced security measures and smooth traffic flow during the upcoming Eid-Kabir celebration. In preparation, the Commissioner has ordered a massive deployment of personnel across the state to ensure the safety and security of all Muslim prayer grounds and strategic locations.

CP Olufemi has directed all Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) to intensify raids on criminal hideouts and black spots within their jurisdictions. Additionally, he has tasked the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations, Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Tactical Operations Officers with the thorough supervision of deployed personnel to maintain peace and order throughout the celebration.

Undercover police operatives have also been dispatched to monitor and report any suspicious activities. The Commissioner warned that anyone caught engaging in unlawful activities would face the full extent of the law.

On behalf of the officers and men of the Delta State Command, CP Olufemi extended his best wishes to all Muslim faithful for a peaceful and joyful Eid-Kabir celebration.
