In alignment with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun’s unwavering commitment to eradicating corruption, extortion, and abuses of fundamental human rights, the Delta State Police Commissioner, CP Abaniwonda Olufemi, has established a Complaints Response Unit (CRU) at the Command headquarters. This initiative aims to curb the excesses of police officers and ensure accountability and professionalism within the Delta State Police Command.
The CP, recognizing the importance of maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, has taken this proactive step to address any instances of excesses or inappropriate behavior demonstrated by police officers and personnel under the command. The CRU will operate under the direct supervision of the Police Public Relations Officer of the command.
