The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, CP Ikioye Orutugu, has reaffirmed his commitment to ending the illegal sit-at-home order, as security forces intensified patrols across the state on February 24, 2025. A massive deployment of personnel to strategic locations aimed at ensuring security dominance and preventing disruptions.
CP Orutugu commended Ndi Anambra and the State Government for collectively condemning actions that threaten national peace. Through the launch of _Operation Udo Ga Chi_, the police, alongside other security agencies, are adopting both kinetic and non-kinetic approaches to stabilize security in the state.
