Cutix Plc Receives High Praise From Stakeholders As Ambassador Nwosu Retires After 40 Years Of Success

In a heartwarming celebration of four decades of resilience and success, stakeholders have showered accolades on Cutix Plc for its unwavering commitment to excellence in the face of challenging economic conditions.

The Nigerian firm, renowned for its specialization in the production and distribution of electrical, automotive, and telecommunications wires, cables, and related products, marked this significant milestone with a grand reception in honor of its retiring Chairman and Co-Founder, Ambassador Okwudili Nwosu.

Distinguished figures, including prominent individuals from Anambra State, leading industrialists, and prominent politicians from across the nation, gathered at Nnewi, Anambra State, to express their commendations and appreciation for Ambassador Nwosu’s outstanding contributions to Cutix Plc and the industrial sector as a whole.

Founder of Cutix Plc, Engineer Ajulu Uzodike, reflected on the remarkable 40-year journey, stating, “My brother and friend, Ambassador Nwosu, has been a steadfast companion throughout this incredible journey, filled with success and milestones.” Engineer Uzodike expressed hope that Ambassador Nwosu would remain an integral part of the Cutix family.

Ambassador Nwosu reciprocated the sentiments, expressing his elation at the company’s impressive success story.

He described Engineer Uzodike as a brother and friend who shared his vision of creating opportunities for individuals to accumulate wealth through partnerships. Ambassador Nwosu emphasized that the Cutix Plc narrative is rooted in trust and his wholehearted dedication to Engineer Uzodike and the company.

Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general elections, Mr. Peter Obi, praised Engineer Uzodike as an exceptional entrepreneur who has created prosperity for Cutix Plc stakeholders and served as a significant employer.

Mr. Obi lamented the lack of sufficient government support for local manufacturers, underlining the pivotal role such companies play in job creation and economic transformation.

Mr. Obi recalled his tenure as Governor of Anambra State, during which he collaborated with Cutix Plc to construct a road leading to the company’s facilities. He highlighted the company’s financial contribution to the project and expressed his gratitude for Ambassador Nwosu’s appointment as Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Burundi.

Anambra State Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, and Wealth Creation, Mr. Christian Udechukwu, commended Ambassador Nwosu’s exceptional managerial skills and highlighted the state government’s commitment to fostering an enabling environment for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Burundi, Elijah Onyeagba, praised the diligence and trust that have underpinned Cutix Plc’s success.

He emphasized that Ambassador Nwosu’s retirement represents a new opportunity to contribute to the industrial sector’s improvement.

Former Senator Ben Obi underscored the importance of individuals like Ambassador Nwosu in driving the industrial revolution in the South East. He hailed small and medium-sized enterprises as engines of economic growth.

Former Minister of Health, Prof. ABC Nwosu, encouraged Ambassador Nwosu to see his retirement as an opportunity to provide professional assistance to young entrepreneurs and industry leaders.

Senator Victor Umeh celebrated Cutix as a valuable gift to Nigerians and the South East, urging the company’s management and staff to persevere in the face of economic challenges.

Gubernatorial candidate in the last Anambra State election, Mr. Ben Etiaba, commended Cutix Plc for its remarkable 40-year journey and called for emulation of the dedication exhibited by its founders, Uzodike and Nwosu, as a blueprint for success in the industrial sector.
