CUSTOMS: Deputy Comptroller Mohammed Zarma Regains Freedom In Ilorin 


Mohammed Zarma ‘Male’ a retired Deputy Comptroller of Nigeria Custom Service, who was kidnapped on his farm located at Oke Jia, Egbejila at about 1730hrs of 6/1/2022 by some unknown gunmen speaking a particular Nigerian language has been released.

Recall that Hybrid News reported about it and according to a family source, Mohammed Zarma was released by his captors on Monday.

“Zarma was kidnapped in his farm some minutes after 6pm, when he was about leaving the farm, with no fewer than two (2) of his boys fired at different directions”, the source said.

“His car was vandalized with bullets.  Two other of his boys were held at the Kwara state Police headquarters since his kidnap for interrogation”, our source added.

According to Hybrid News report Zarma’s family paid ransom to the captors to secure his release, the amount however cannot be immediately ascertained.

He was picked up inside a forest along Ilorin-Ogbomosho expressway.
