The Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN) has commended the recent redeployment of Commissioner of Police (CP) Tunji Disu to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command in Abuja. CRAN praised the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun for this strategic move, aligning with the IGP’s objective to optimize police resources and enhance security in the FCT.
CRAN emphasized that CP Disu’s prior experience with Abuja’s unique security landscape, notably from his time as Commander of the Intelligence Response Team, will significantly benefit FCT’s security operations. Known for his exemplary policing style during his tenure in Lagos State as Chairman of the Rapid Response Squad, Disu’s expertise is expected to bring proactive and effective crime management strategies to Abuja.
