The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Jimoh, has reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to supporting the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) in combating domestic and sexual violence across the state.
CP Jimoh made this pledge on Wednesday, March 13, 2025, during a courtesy visit by the Executive Secretary of DSVA, Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, to the Command Headquarters in Ikeja.
Commending the DSVA’s dedication to addressing domestic and sexual violence, CP Jimoh acknowledged the agency’s efforts in providing support services to survivors. He emphasized that the agency’s work aligns with the Command’s mandate to protect vulnerable individuals and ensure justice for victims.
He further assured that the Command will collaborate closely with the DSVA through its Family Support Units, which are established across Police Divisions in Lagos State, to enhance support for victims and ensure swift prosecution of offenders.
The visit underscored the shared commitment of both agencies to strengthening measures against domestic and sexual violence in the state.
