CP Itam Encourages Police Officers’ Wives To Be Ambassadors, Pledges Support For POWA’s Mandate


The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam, has urged the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) to continue being exemplary ambassadors of the police force. This was conveyed during a courtesy visit by the Anambra State Chapter of POWA to the Police Headquarters in Awka.

During the visit, led by Mrs. Favour Joan Nnaghe, POWA members shared their plans to construct a hospital and a shopping plaza, aiming to provide quality and affordable healthcare and business facilities for police families and the wider Anambra community.

CP Itam assured the association of his support in actualizing these initiatives, highlighting the importance of POWA’s role in supporting police families and contributing to the community.

The meeting was attended by the Command’s Management team and the State Executive Members of POWA.
