Expressing the purpose behind his visit, CGC Adeniyi stated, “We are here in Kano for two reasons: first, as we approach the season of Ramadan, it is good for us to come around and extend our felicitations to the Emir and join him in the prayers that Almighty God will make this month a blessed and glorious one for us and our country.”

He further emphasized the need to supervise customs operations in the region, acknowledging the significant role Kano plays in trade and commerce.

In response, Emir Bayero welcomed CGC Adeniyi and commended his efforts to alleviate hardship in Kano. He expressed gratitude for the initiative to distribute food items and underscored the importance of ensuring that aid reaches those most in need.

The Emir also highlighted the recent visit of Senator Remi Bola Tinubu, where he urged her to convey the challenges faced by Nigerians to the president. He commended the responsiveness of the administration to the plight of the people and emphasized the importance of collaboration between government agencies and traditional authorities.

The meeting between CGC Adeniyi and Emir Bayero exemplifies the significance of dialogue and cooperation in addressing socio-economic challenges and fostering development. As both entities pledge continued support for each other, the prospects for improved business environment and enhanced welfare in Kano appear promising.
