Today, Tuesday, June 25, 2024, the CAC Apapa Command, under the leadership of Comptroller Babatunde Olomu PhD fsi, strengthened its collaboration with sister agencies by participating in the Walk Against Drugs. This event was held to commemorate the 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking.
Comptroller Olomu joined forces with the Commander of the NDLEA Apapa Special Area Command and other government agencies in the port to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. He emphasized the importance of such collaborations for intelligence sharing and public safety.
“By working together, security agencies can achieve greater success and better protect their communities than they could alone,” Olomu stated.
Chief Superintendent of Customs Abubakar Usman, the Public Relations Officer for the Customs Area Controller, Apapa Command, conveyed this message on behalf of Comptroller Olomu.
