Brigadier General KN Nwoko assumed the role of Commandant at the Nigerian Army Intelligence School on July 9, 2023.
He officially took over from Major General IG Lassa, who has been redeployed to the Defence Space Agency as the Director of Policy, Plans, and Research.
In his farewell speech, the outgoing Commander expressed his gratitude to the staff and instructors for their unwavering support and cooperation throughout his tenure.
Lassa emphasized that the achievements of the school during his leadership were the result of the collective efforts of all the officers and soldiers. He encouraged them to extend the same level of support and cooperation to the new Commandant.
The new Commandant, in his address, called upon the staff and instructors to continue providing the same level of cooperation they had given to his predecessor. He assured them that he would build upon the foundation laid by his predecessor and continue the progress made so far.
Prior to his appointment as Commandant of the Nigerian Army Intelligence School, he served as the Commander of the 2 Military Intelligence Brigade in Ibadan.
