Prominent Nigerian comedian and content creator, Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Amuzie, widely known as Brainjotter, alongside Chief Executive of Lelook Bags, Chief (Mrs.) Chinwe Ezenwa, and National President of the Customs Officers Wives Association (COWA), Mrs. Kikelomo Adeniyi, are among the distinguished individuals set to be honored with Life-Impact Awards at the 2024 MMS Hall of Fame.
The awards will be presented during the 8th edition of the MMS Hall of Fame and International Women’s Leadership Summit, scheduled to take place at the NICON Luxury Hotel in Abuja on November 6, 2024.
Other notable recipients include the Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Christopher Zakka Maikalang; Founder of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Dr. Boniface Aniebonam; and Founder of C21FG, Ambassador Michael Okoli.
The Co-Founder of MMS Hall of Fame, Mr. Kingsley Anaroke, highlighted that the awardees were selected for their remarkable humanitarian efforts, which align with the MMS brand’s mission of leadership through impact. Despite Nigeria’s challenging economic environment, the recipients have made significant contributions that have positively affected many lives.
Brainjotter’s transformative comedy skits and humanitarian efforts, particularly his “Outside the Box” show, where he donated ₦30 million to a female participant with crutches, were recognized as aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Additionally, his innovative recreation of Pa Mike Ejeagha’s folklore song has brought global attention to Nigerian traditional music.
Chief (Mrs.) Chinwe Ezenwa, an international businesswoman, has been celebrated for her company’s achievement in obtaining the Nigeria-AfCFTA Certificate of Origin, which enables trade under the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA). Ezenwa’s Lelook Bags has empowered over 1,000 youths through its skills acquisition programs, significantly impacting young women across Africa.
Mrs. Kikelomo Adeniyi will be receiving a dual honor at the event, with both the MMS Life-Impact Award and an induction into the 2024 MMS Hall of Fame. Under her leadership, COWA has revived its humanitarian activities, benefiting over 100,000 people through various initiatives aimed at assisting less-privileged women and children.
Christopher Zakka Maikalang, Chairman of AMAC, will be acknowledged for his life-changing urban projects, including road construction, educational reforms, and his leadership in climate change initiatives such as the Sustainable Energy Access and Climate Action Plan (SEACAP), which has positively impacted women, children, and other vulnerable groups.
Ambassador Michael Okoli, founder of LaBuena Vida, is recognized for his efforts to raise 50,000 millionaires yearly, empowering thousands of women and young people through entrepreneurship. His work has redefined financial empowerment and social entrepreneurship in Nigeria.
Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, who founded NAGAFF in 1999, will be honored for revolutionizing the freight forwarding sector in Nigeria. Through NAGAFF, numerous young professionals have been mentored and empowered, aligning with SDG goals and the MMS Hall of Fame’s mission of leadership through impact.
The MMS Life-Impact Awards will celebrate these exceptional leaders for their roles in driving positive change, fostering entrepreneurship, and improving the lives of countless individuals across various sectors.
