Anambra State Police Pledges To Help POWA Actualizes Its Mandate


“As POWA State Executive Members Pay Courtesy Call on the CP in Awka”

The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP MONDAY BALA KURYAS fsi has pledged to help POWA actualize its mandate. He made this commitment on 17th March 2021, when he received in audience, Executives of Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) Anambra State Chapter. DSP Ikenga Tochukwu PPRO Anambra State Command, disclosed this to Hybrid Online News Nigeria.

The POWA Executives officially welcomed him to Anambra State and prayed for a peaceful and successful tenure for the Commissioner throughout his stay in the State.

The Chairperson MRS. AZIMI MONDAY in her speech solicited for his support in order to help the Chapter fulfill its mandate.

Mrs Kuryas concluded by intimating the Commissioner of Police about the ongoing construction of police children school project at CPS Onitsha which after completion will assist both police family and Ndi Anambra towards accessing quality and affordable education for their children. However the project has stopped due to shortage of funds.

In his response, the CP appreciated their visit and assured them of his unflinching support and promised to work with them in realizing their dream and mandate. He promised to provide them with the needed support to help them achieve their vision and mission.
