The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Aderemi Adeoye, has issued a stern declaration, affirming the commitment of the command to track down and prosecute the culprits responsible for the killing of the Nanka Ward Chairman of the Young Progressive Party (YPP).

Strongly denouncing the killing, CP Adeoye characterized the perpetrators as cowardly individuals who have senselessly taken a life.

He emphasized that although the perpetrators might believe they’ve executed a flawless crime and can evade justice, they are mistaken. The police force is actively pursuing crucial leads to identify those behind the heinous act.

The Commissioner reassured all law-abiding citizens, particularly those in Nanka, to not succumb to fear but rather collaborate with the police in the pursuit of the perpetrators and their backers.
