Anambra Police Seek Information on Alleged Kidnapping of Nine Fishermen

The Anambra State Police Command has responded to circulating reports of an alleged kidnapping of nine fishermen in the state. The Command has called on the relatives of the purported victims to come forward with any relevant information to aid investigations.

Expressing surprise at the widespread online reports, the Command noted that no such case had been officially reported to any police formation within the state. Despite this, the Command is undeterred by public reactions and remains committed to investigating the incident thoroughly. It has assured the public of its readiness to deploy investigative resources and collaborate with any concerned parties to facilitate a possible rescue.
