Operatives from the Abagana Division of the Anambra State Police Command have rescued an elderly woman who was being subjected to cruel treatment by another woman in Umudunu village, Abagana.

The incident gained widespread attention after a video clip of the incident went viral.

The perpetrator, identified as Ukamaka Udeugbo, a 50-year-old woman, was later revealed to be the victim’s biological daughter.

In the video, the suspect can be seen repeatedly beating the naked elderly woman and drenching her with buckets of water while she lay on the floor.
