The Anambra State Police Command has addressed recent publications linking a political party candidate and the Commissioner of Police’s official portrait to the murder incident at Isionye land, which occurred on September 9, 2024. This incident, which resulted in the death of three individuals and injuries to others, has prompted significant public concern.

In response to these publications, the Anambra Police Command has expressed its dismay, emphasizing that the Commissioner of Police remains impartial and open to listening to all parties involved. The Command reiterated its commitment to thoroughly investigating the crime and ensuring that those responsible are held accountable under the law.

The Commissioner of Police has assured that no efforts will be spared in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
