In a significant breakthrough, the Anambra State Police Command has arrested Anichede Akachukwu, an 18-year-old known as ‘Star B’, a notorious and most wanted cultist and armed robber. The arrest took place on May 17, 2024, in Uruagu village, Oba, Idemili South LGA, following a tip-off and successful tactical operation.
Akachukwu, a confessed leader of the Vikings Secret Cult Confraternity, has been terrorizing Ogbaru LGA in Anambra State and Asaba in Delta State. He was apprehended while receiving treatment for a bullet wound sustained in a previous encounter with police operatives in Asaba. His arrest has provided the police with crucial information on the gang’s operations and the identities of other members, aiding the ongoing investigation.
In a related operation on May 20, 2024, police operatives in Okija, Ihiala LGA, recovered a white Porsche Cayenne Jeep with registration number AGL 60 HJ Lagos, suspected to be the operational vehicle of the criminal gang.
