ANAMBRA: NSCDC Orders Anti Vandal Unit To Get Rid Of Vandals In The State

The newly deployed State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps , Anambra State, Commandant Vincent Ogu JP, charged officers and men of the Command to redouble their efforts in the discharge of their duties. This was contained in a press statement by the Spokesperson of the command DSC Okadigbo Edwin to Hybrid Online News Nigeria.

Ogu stated this at the State Command Headquarters Awka during a muster Parade for Officers and Men of the Command. He challenged them to reciprocate the gesture done to them by the Commandant General of NSCDC, Abubakar Audi PhD mni after the massive promotion and welfare packages in his first hundred days as the Commandant General.

He emphasized the need to promote discipline through proper dress code, respect for seniority in ranks, punctuality to work, dedication to assign duties and credible conducts amongst other professional values of the Corps.

Commandant Ogu directed the Anti-Vandalism Unit to get rid of Vandals in the State who are bent on vandalizing Critical National Asset and Infrastructure within the shortest possible time as the command will not condone any security lapses in any part of the state.

The State Commandant in his concluding remarks appealed to Ndi Anambra and residents alike to always provide the Command with credible information that will assist the Command in nipping crimes and criminality at the bud in and around the state.
