Anambra Government Convenes Roundtable Discussion To Revive Igbo Culture

The Ministry of Culture, Entertainment, and Tourism (MCET) under the leadership of Gov. Chukwuma Soludo has taken a proactive step towards the revival of Igbo culture and its intrinsic values. In a bid to promote the rich heritage of the Igbo people, the ministry recently hosted a roundtable discussion at the Jerome Udoji’s Secretariat in Awka, Anambra State.

The discussion brought together various stakeholders, including representatives from the Citizenship Rights Directorate, Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU) Youth wing, Film Village, Traditional Institute, and others. The focal point was to deliberate on strategies to preserve and rejuvenate the Igbo culture, emphasizing the importance of upholding core values such as respect for elders, hard work, brotherliness, investment in the state, honesty, and the kindred system.
