Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet has officially taken up the position of Director of Public Relations and Information (DOPRI) for the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).

In a brief ceremony held at Headquarters NAF, Abuja, on July 3, 2023, he succeeded Air Commodore Ayodele Famuyiwa.

It is worth noting that Air Commodore Gabkwet previously served as the DOPRI from March 9, 2021, to January 6, 2023.

Prior to his reappointment, he held the position of Commander at the 551 NAF Station in Jos, Plateau State.
