Retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Tunde Ogunshakin, will deliver the keynote lecture at the RazorNews Inter-Agency Cooperation Awards and Lectures 2024 on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. The event, which will be held at the Wells Carlton Luxury Hotel in Asokoro, Abuja, is set to highlight the importance of collaboration among Nigeria’s security agencies in addressing national challenges.
Ogunshakin, a distinguished detective and former EFCC operative, has had a remarkable career in law enforcement, including serving as Commissioner of Police for the Special Fraud Unit in Ikoyi and Rivers State. His keynote lecture, titled “Inter-Agency Unity: The Power of Collective Action,” will focus on fostering unity and cooperation among security agencies to enhance national security and development.
The event, organized by RazorNews, seeks to promote inter-agency collaboration while recognizing individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to security and development in Nigeria.
The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, OFR, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, while Hon. Philip Agbese will also deliver a keynote address. Sir Mike Ejiofor, a former Director of the Department of State Services (DSS) and a highly respected security expert, will chair the event.
In addition to Ogunshakin’s lecture, the event will feature a book launch, offering further insights into strategies for enhancing inter-agency collaboration.
