AIG Fayoade Adegoke Urges Officers To Uphold Professionalism, Integrity In Service

On September 18, 2024, AIG Fayoade Adegoke, the newly appointed Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, held his maiden lecture with officers and men of the command. Addressing personnel at the M.D. Abubakar Conference Hall, AIG Fayoade emphasized the importance of professionalism, respect for the rule of law, and upholding the fear of God in their daily duties.

AIG Fayoade, who is familiar with the terrain, urged officers to maintain high standards of policing and work towards improving the public image of both the Zone and the Nigeria Police Force as a whole. He reiterated his commitment to reducing crime rates in Lagos and Ogun States and enhancing the quality of service delivery to the public.

He also encouraged unity among personnel, urging them to contribute meaningfully to efforts aimed at eradicating criminal activities in the region. In his remarks, AIG Fayoade reminded officers to prioritize their health and well-being while carrying out their duties.
