Africa Social Impact Summit 2024 Draws Global Participation

The Africa Social Impact Summit (ASIS) 2024 is poised to be a landmark event with delegates from over 50 countries confirming their attendance. Scheduled for July 25-26 at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, the summit underscores its status as the premier platform for sustainable development in Africa.

Delegates from West Africa, including Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Gambia, Togo, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, and Guinea, will be joined by their counterparts from East Africa, such as Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Somalia. Central Africa will be represented by Congo-Kinshasa, Congo-Brazzaville, Chad, and Cameroon, while Southern Africa will include participants from South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Malawi, Madagascar, and Lesotho. North African nations Morocco and Algeria will also be present.

In addition to African representation, ASIS 2024 will host international delegates from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, France, Denmark, Belgium, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia, and Albania. This extensive global participation highlights the summit’s significance as an inclusive forum dedicated to addressing Africa’s critical issues through international collaboration.

Co-convened by the Sterling One Foundation and the United Nations, ASIS aims to be a collaborative platform for stakeholders across various sectors to develop and implement initiatives that drive social and economic progress. The summit aligns with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting sustainable solutions through strategic partnerships and innovative approaches.
