AEDC Cracks Down On Debtors, Announces Disconnection Of Electricity Services

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has issued a stern warning to all customers with outstanding bills, urging them to settle their accounts immediately to avoid service disruption. Customers who fail to clear their debts within the next 72 hours, by Monday, June 3, 2024, will face disconnection of their electricity supply.

In its announcement, AEDC highlighted the critical importance of adhering to payment deadlines to ensure efficient and reliable service. The company stressed that timely payment of electricity bills is crucial for the continued operation and enhancement of AEDC’s infrastructure, which is essential for delivering uninterrupted service to the community.

The company urges all customers to take immediate action and settle their outstanding bills by the specified deadline to avoid any inconvenience.
