ACAMB Mourns The Loss of Abdul Kolawole Imoyo, Esteemed Publicity Secretary

The Association of Corporate & Marketing Communications Professionals in Banks (ACAMB) is in mourning following the passing of Mr. Abdul Kolawole Imoyo, its esteemed Publicity Secretary. Mr. Imoyo, a highly respected corporate media manager and Journalist, passed away in the early hours of Sunday, December 17, 2023, at First Cardiology, Ikoyi, Lagos, after a brief illness.

In a statement released by ACAMB’s President, Rasheed Bolarinwa, on behalf of the Executive Committee and all members of the Association, Mr. Imoyo was acknowledged for his significant contributions as the Head of Media Relations at Access Holdings, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the financial group’s communication strategies and public image.

The Imoyo family, represented by Tunde Imoyo, shared a heartfelt statement confirming the passing of Abdul Kolawole Imoyo and expressed their deep sorrow over the loss, requesting privacy as they grieve during this challenging time.

Recognized for his dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to excellence in corporate communications, Mr. Imoyo’s legacy within ACAMB and the wider corporate landscape will be fondly remembered and celebrated by colleagues, associates, and the entire banking community.
