The Abia State Command of NSCDC paraded four (4) suspects for their alleged involvement in wilful vandalism of Railway lines and illegal dealings in petroleum products. This was contained in a press statement by the Spokesperson of the command Supt. Ndukwe Agu Egwuto Hybrid Online News Nigeria.

The statement read that the two suspects were Ndubuisi Samuel ‘male’ 20 years old and Donatus Ogbonnaya Eze ‘male’ 29 years old were arrested following credible information on their alleged involvement in vandalism of the Rail lines along Isuikwuato LGA of Abia State.

Exhibits recovered from them include over fifty (50) lengths of Rail iron and Rail Hooks suspected to be part of the equipments for the ongoing rehabilitation of the Eastern Rail lines.

The two other suspects Sule Bula ‘male’ 47 years old and Biliya Musa ‘male’ 31 years old were arrested while conveying over ten thousand (10,000) liters of suspected adulterated AGO along Ubakala Axis of the Aba/ Porthacourt Expressway in a truck with the inscription- TAKL- 131.

Speaking further, Commandant Ayinla said the Personnel of the Command’s Anti- Vandal Unit were quickly mobilized when the information on the activities of the vandals were received.

The highly elated Commandant Ayinla while commending his Men said he was happy that the arrests were made within 48hrs after his assumption of office as the eleventh Substantive State Commandant of NSCDC Abia Command.

In his words” this is in line with our commitment to fully implement the Commandant General- Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi mni zero tolerance posture against all forms of vandalism of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure of Government”.

He seized the opportunity to warn hoodlums in the State to either repent or relocate.
