Members of Njiko AniochaOshimili have congratulated the Asagba of Asaba, His Royal Majesty, Obi (Professor) Epiphany Azinge, OON, SAN, on the second anniversary of his ascension to the revered throne of Asaba Kingdom.
In a goodwill message to mark the anniversary, the group described the monarch’s two years on the throne as a period of visionary, people-centred and progressive leadership, which has strengthened the dignity and relevance of the traditional institution.
Njiko AniochaOshimili commended Azinge for bringing intellectual depth, wisdom and purposeful direction to his role as the traditional ruler of Asaba, noting that his leadership has continued to inspire confidence among the people.
The group also praised the Asagba for his commitment to peace, unity and cultural renewal across Anioma, describing his contributions as a distinguished legal practitioner, scholar and royal father as a source of inspiration and guidance to Asaba and the wider Aniocha-Oshimili community.
It said it remained proud of the achievements recorded under the monarch’s leadership and expressed optimism that his reign would continue to promote unity, development and peaceful coexistence in Asaba Kingdom and beyond.
The group prayed God to grant the Asagba continued wisdom, sound health and strength to lead the kingdom to greater honour, prosperity and unity. It added, “Congratulations, Your Majesty. Long live the Asagba of Asaba. Long live Asaba Kingdom. Long live Njiko AniochaOshimili.”
