The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has formally recognised the sterling service of the Area ‘B’ Commander, Airport Police Command, ACP Usman Arzika, at Sultan Abubakar III International Airport. The accolade celebrates his unwavering commitment to law, order, and aviation security.
The award ceremony, held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, saw Mr. Isyaka Nasiru, the Airport Manager, personally confer the honour on ACP Arzika. The Airport Manager lauded the officer’s exceptional leadership and dedication to maintaining a secure airport environment.
In a statement, FAAN highlighted ACP Arzika’s collaborative approach to security. “Through coordinated patrols, intelligence sharing, and proactive engagement with sister security agencies, the Commander has strengthened the airport’s overall security architecture,” the statement said.
