The Lagos State Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, has congratulated Dr. Ayo Ogunsan on his appointment as the Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
In a statement issued by SP Abimbola Adebisi, ANIPR, MIPRA, the Police Public Relations Officer, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, the Command described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Dr. Ogunsan’s long-standing commitment, leadership, and partnership in advancing the security architecture of Lagos State.
“The Commissioner of Police congratulates Dr. Ogunsan on this new role and expresses confidence in his ability to deliver on the LSSTF’s mandate with integrity, vision, and proven dedication to public safety,” the statement reads.
The Command emphasized that Dr. Ogunsan’s appointment reflects Governor Sanwo-Olu’s confidence in his leadership qualities and track record of excellence in supporting security operations across the state.
Over the years, Dr. Ogunsan has played a strategic and impactful role in the LSSTF Board, working closely with the Police and other security agencies to ensure Lagos remains one of the safest states in Nigeria.
The Commissioner of Police assured that the Command will continue to strengthen its collaboration with the LSSTF under Dr. Ogunsan’s leadership to improve logistics, intelligence sharing, and operational efficiency.
“The Lagos State Police Command celebrates Dr. Ogunsan’s appointment with pride and optimism. His new role presents an opportunity to deepen existing synergy between the Police and LSSTF for a safer Lagos,” the statement concluded.
