Ecobank, Qatar Airways Reward Top Exhibitors At ‘Oja Oge’ Fashion Fair In Lagos

In a celebration of creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation, Ecobank Nigeria, in partnership with Qatar Airways, has honoured outstanding vendors at the just-concluded second edition of the ‘Oja Oge by Ecobank’ fashion, beauty, and lifestyle fair.

The three-day event, held in Lagos, brought together a diverse range of local businesses and SMEs, offering them a vibrant platform to showcase their products, connect with consumers, and scale their market reach. The highlight of the fair was the recognition and rewarding of the top-performing exhibitors whose efforts stood out in terms of sales volume and transaction value.

Goodness and Mercy Hair emerged as the overall top seller by gross sales and was awarded a Qatar Airways Business Class ticket to any destination of choice. Clandini, the second-highest seller by gross sales, received a Qatar Airways Economy Class ticket to any international destination. Accessories by Morgan was recognized for recording the highest volume of transactions, earning a ₦750,000 cash prize.

Omoboye Odu, Head of SME Banking at Ecobank Nigeria, praised the vendors for their innovation and dedication, noting that the event was designed to empower small businesses and connect them with wider audiences.

“This fair exemplifies our ongoing commitment to empowering local entrepreneurs. It provided vendors with a unique opportunity to showcase their offerings, attract new customers, forge valuable business connections, and explore broader markets,” she said.

Odu also expressed appreciation to Qatar Airways and other partners for supporting the fair, emphasizing its role in promoting engagement between emerging brands and both local and international consumers.

Award recipients expressed heartfelt gratitude for the recognition. A representative from Accessories by Morgan highlighted the importance of such initiatives in boosting visibility and supporting the growth of small and medium enterprises.

Organized as part of Ecobank’s strategy to support the growth of the creative economy, the ‘Oja Oge’ fair has become a flagship event for SMEs in the fashion and lifestyle space.
