A delegation from ipNX Nigeria Limited has paid a courtesy visit recently to the Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Idris Olorunnimbe, reaffirming support for Nigeria’s broadband expansion and digital transformation drive.
The visit highlighted growing collaboration between telecommunications regulators and private sector operators aimed at accelerating broadband penetration and strengthening digital infrastructure nationwide.
Speaking during the engagement, the Group Managing Director of ipNX, Ejovi Aror, emphasized the importance of strong leadership and consistent policy direction in unlocking opportunities within Nigeria’s digital economy.
Aror noted that sustainable growth in the technology sector depends heavily on strategic partnerships between government institutions and industry players working toward common national objectives.
He stated that ipNX remains committed to supporting initiatives designed to deepen broadband access, improve connectivity, and bridge Nigeria’s widening digital divide.
According to him, special attention must also be placed on expanding internet access within educational institutions to enhance digital learning and equip young Nigerians with technology driven skills.
The ipNX chief further stressed that stronger broadband infrastructure would empower businesses, boost innovation, and position Nigeria more competitively within Africa’s rapidly evolving technology ecosystem.
Responding, Olorunnimbe expressed appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to creating a regulatory environment that encourages investment and private sector participation.
He assured stakeholders that the commission would continue to support policies capable of driving universal broadband access, digital inclusion, and sustainable telecommunications growth across the country.
The engagement further underscores ipNX’s expanding role in Nigeria’s ICT sector through the delivery of broadband solutions and technology initiatives aimed at supporting national economic development.
