The leadership of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) stepped into the spotlight at the National Assembly, as its Director-General engaged members of the House of Representatives during a crucial budget defence session.

The high-level interaction underscored the agency’s resolve to align its financial projections with national priorities, while responding to legislative oversight on expenditure and performance benchmarks.

Addressing lawmakers, the NIMASA boss reiterated a firm commitment to transparency, prudent resource management, and accountability in the execution of the agency’s budget.

The session also provided an opportunity to outline ongoing reforms and strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s maritime domain and boosting sectoral growth.
