Ten Boko Haram militants were killed by Nigerian troops in an ambush on the Magumeri to Gubio road in Borno state’s north.
On July 12, it was reported that a group of motorcycle-riding terrorists mounted a checkpoint and kidnapped two gulf cars and the passengers inside in the vicinity of Titiya village.
According to Zagazola, the courageous soldiers responded quickly to distress calls and immediately countered the terrorists’ move, causing them to suffer a humiliating defeat and flee on their heels.
According to our source, the forces pursued the fleeing terrorists and killed 10 of them, but some were wounded by gunshots and managed to escape.
Later, the passengers were saved, and the two stolen cars were returned to their rightful owners.
